This model has 20 brightness settings, but also offers a night vision toggle switch that turns sight on to the infra-red brightness settings need for use with III and IV generation night vision. Uses AA batteries. EOTech sights leave no muzzle side signature (can not be seen even with III gen night vision from the front). Batteries last approximately 1100 hours.
