Description
The replacement for the famous LOWA Desert Elite. The LOWA BREACHER S MID is part of a completely new modular system of mission boots. 2 Heights, 4 colours, 3 leather variations and the option of either having a 100% GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort Footwear Membrane or not. The LOWA BREACHER S MID’s ankle-high upper offers an ideal combination of stability and freedom of movement. The BREACHER S MID with its practical, light­weight design, has a combination of highly abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA® with highly breathable suede in the upper while the fabric windows on the upper part of the foot ensure optimum conditions within the boot.

In addition to the comfortable dual-density PU midsole with integrated arch support for extra long tabs, yomps, rucks or marches the certified ankle protection system with PORON® tech­nology makes this boot the ideal choice of equipment for airmen, police officers, security consultants and private military contractors.

The BREACHER S MID features a highly abrasion-resistant, highly breathable fabric lining. It is certified as occupational footwear in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012. It is anti-static and has a cold and heat insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only anti-slip, but also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat. The Vibram® Vanguard sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The sole is resoleable.

Ankle protection is particularly important in the military & Police sector and for work in rough terrain. The LOWA BREACHER S MID is equipped with high-performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact. The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterised by particularly high shock absorption and is certified (an additional requirement AN).

The two-zone lacing system used in the LOWA BREACHER S MID means the forefoot and upper have their own separate adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the boot can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.

100% Poly­urethane (PU)Midsole. PU is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Using PU the soles of boots become light­weight and functionally flexible.
